Yoqui* allows for symmetrical/bilateral movement which assists working & long-term memory, as well as promotes core stabilization and multi-hemisphere brain activity.

Designed in collaboration by educational specialists, engineers, kids, and therapists – Yoqui* is a physically and cognitively appropriate addition to any learning space.

The Yoqui is a dynamic, wedge-shaped active seating tool that integrates movement directly into a sitting experience. Its angled, asymmetrical form encourages subtle postural adjustments and core engagement, supporting the proprioceptive and vestibular input that underlies attention and self-regulation. The smooth upholstered surfaces in calming tones reduce visual noise, while the ergonomic shape accommodates varied sitting positions — sideways, straddled, backwards etc. — allowing individuals to self-select the posture that best supports their cognitive readiness. Yoqui reflects the understanding that movement is not a distraction from learning; but more so a learning pathway.
