Two students on a medium GRASSYOTT ottoman in a library space
THE GRASSYOTT ottoman is just what nature ordered!
The GRASSYOTT ottoman provides learners with a natural feeling and comforting material. These dome shaped seats come in three different sizes, and all are large enough to share. Two learners can sit on top of a Grassy Dome to air-share or partner read.
Four learners can use the GRASSYOTT ottoman as a back rest while working independently. If a learner flips the GRASSYOTT ottoman over, it can be used as a writing surface, or a place to sit and rock with the grass in reach. The GRASSYOTT ottoman is perfect for individual work time, too; it even fits nicely under a table or desk!
The GRASSY Collection empowers learners who may need a self-soothing tool or something to keep them active while learning material. It is a dynamic, natural-looking conversation starter for visitors, too!
What kind of space is the GRASSYOTT best suited to?
The GRASSYOTT ottoman is used across many learning spaces, from libraries and breakout spaces to classrooms and withdrawal spaces. Like all of our pieces, its multifunctional design will make it an essential piece in any space – not to mention that learners love it! The bright green grass texture has the added benefit of bringing the outside in.
What is the benefit to the learner?
To authentically help and meet the needs of tactile and kinesthetic learners isn’t always the easiest thing to do. As tactile learners perform best through emotions, touch, movement, and space, the GRASSYOTT ottoman and our GRASSYOTT benches aid in creating this captivating learning environment. And, as these learners are usually the ones who need to engage in an activity to grasp the concept, playing with the grass assists in this!
